Sofia Pernas grew in Orange County, California. Sofia Pernas was from Morocco Moroccan origin - moved to California when she was a kid when she was just five years old. She graduated in 2015 from University of California San Diego and received her first big break acting. Pernas began her acting career through minor roles on NCIS and Leverage. The Young and the Restless gave Pernas the part of Marisa. It was her turn to play Catalina as Catalina in Jane the Virgin after she was let go of the soap. The actress speaks four languages and has since appeared on The Brave with Hannah Rivera as well as The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020 Pernas was portrayed by Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas is dating her ex- The Young and the Restless co-star Justin Hartley. This is Us' star Pernas started dating Justin Hartley after her split with Chrishell Stause, who she had been married to since November of the year 2019. Pernas Hartley And Pernas Hartley were secretly married in the month of May 2021.
